Boots text message scam

Many people across Ireland are receiving text messages that claim they have come from Boots and that you have won a prize. These text messages have not come from boots, this is a scam by criminal to trick you so the criminal can steal your personal data.

If someone clicks on these fraudulent texts they are designed to obtain your personal information. Don’t click on this type of text messages these type of scam are trying to steam your private information and your phone may also get infected with malware.
If you receive these types of a message delete them immediately, do not click on the links.

Boots Ireland are warning customers about a scam and they claim they do not run any type of monthly draw where you receive text messages.
